Introduction to Software Technology is the foundational course for the Game Design pathway. It is designed for high school students to understand, communicate, and adapt to a digital world as it impacts their personal life, society, and the business world. 

In this course you will engage your creativity, demonstrate and build problem solving skills all while connecting the relevance of computer science to the society! CS Principles is an intellectually rich and engaging course that is focused on building a solid understanding and foundation in computer science. 

Students completing this course will learn the fundamentals of Java, a programming language, as well as other foundational concepts of coding. Topics may include: Primative data types including int, double, and boolean. Evaluating arithmetic expressions in program code. Students will have the opportunity to earn college credit and certification in this rigorous course.
