About Your Teacher & Advisor
There aren't enough cliché' phrases or sentiments to describe just how much I have enjoyed teaching! It is my personal goal to inspire and motivate as many students as I possibly can. There were several teachers who inspired me throughout my journey through school. I hope to become that teacher for someone else. For me, it is all about paying it forward. I strive to prepare students for college and career readiness. In my classroom students will Work Hard and Play Hard; this is a philosophy that I live by both inside and outside of the classroom. I push my students to strive for excellence, just as I push my two boys. In my room, failure will not be an option.
For my students: I hope that you are ready to learn something new, teach something newer and enjoy the ride! Let's have an amazing year!

I am incredibly grateful to have had the privilege of serving as the Douglas County School System Teacher of the Year for the 2025–2026 school year. This recognition represents not only my commitment to education but also the amazing students, families, colleagues, and community who inspire me every day. It has been an honor to represent New Manchester High School and DCSS, and I remain committed to helping every student learn, grow, and reach their full potential.
